When it comes to the interior of the Chevy Trax, you have a spacious interior that can fit up to five passengers along with cargo. The second row of seats can fold down to provide you with up to 54.1 cubic feet of max cargo space. The new Chevy Trax offers more rear seat leg room and cargo space compared to previous model years, too.
When it comes to the exterior design of the Trax, it's larger and longer over previous generations. You have five models to choose from that can match your style with the RS providing a more sporty design while the ACTIV has a muscular and modern exterior look and feel.
Powering the new Chevy Trax is a fuel-efficient 1.2-liter EcoTec turbo engine that produces up to 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. It gets paired with a six-speed automatic transmission to provide you with a combined 30 mpg.
The Chevy Trax comes standard with wireless integration for your compatible smartphone with options for wireless charging as well. You can get up to an 11-inch touchscreen to help you stay connected. Each Chevy Trax is also equipped with Active Noise Cancellation to help reduce outside noises. Models can be equipped with up to an 8.0-inch Driver Information Center that can provide you with additional driving information such as driver-assist features, speed, fuel economy and more.
To help your passengers stay connected, the new Chevy Trax can also be equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot and the myChevrolet Mobile App can provide remote access to the Trax. You can lock and unlock doors, start the Trax, and even activate the temperature controls and other settings so that it's ready for your next drive.
For safety, the Chevy Trax comes standard with the Chevy Safety Assist package that comes with six safety and driver-assist features. This includes features like the Rear Cross Traffic Alert that can warn you about vehicles when backing up. Each new Chevy Trax is also equipped with a HD Rear Vision Camera that can help you while backing up and parking with its on-screen guidelines.
The Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert can assist you by warning you about vehicles in your blind spots. It also includes the Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking for added peace of mind and safety.
Features like Adaptive Cruise Control can help you on longer trips or your daily commutes. You can set a specific speed and follow distance and the Trax will automatically adjust the speed according to the traffic ahead.
